We have received many comments about the impending price rises, but there was absolutely no other alternative at this time for Aura-Soma Products. We buy most of the component parts of our products (such as the glassware, the bottles, essential oils, extracts, minerals etc) in Euros and other foreign currencies.

As you may be aware, the British Pound has been badly affected by the current financial crisis. As a consequence of its diminished value, it is costing us much more to buy our component stock.

Furthermore, inflation in the UK has affected our UK expenses, costs and general overheads etc. The aggregate effect is that our own costs and expenses in all currencies have increased very significantly over the past year, to a point that unless a price rise occurred, Aura-Soma could have ceased to exist.

We always regret increasing our prices, because it has been, and will always be, our philosophy to make Aura-Soma products as widely available as possible, but in this instance, we have had no choice. Please be aware that we, as part of decisions made some considerable time ago, linked all ASPL prices to the Euro, the actual shift in the Aura-Soma Euro price has actually only been a minimal 2 ½%.

I know this note does not give you the answers you may seek, but these are the facts facing us at this unprecedented time in the world. We really appreciate all the levels of support we have received, what is paramount and most significant that inspires us daily is your on going commitment to Aura-Soma and the fantastic system we all contribute to.
