Sacred Journey - Day 3

Day 3 - 23rd September
This was one of the most special days for me of the Sacred Journey. We were up very early in the morning so that we could have a Sunrise Equinoctial ceremony on the Nile Meridian that runs through Linda Tucker’s property. This line is referred to as Zep Tepi and it means first time.
The ceremony took place at 31 degrees E:08 which is in precise alignment with the tip of the Great Pyramid in the North. When we reached this point we found that there were some crystals laid out on the point of the leyline and this is where we gathered to meditate.
Linda picked up one of the crystals that had been moved and she said that the baboons had knocked it onto the path to remind us of them. Throughout the six days the baboons could be heard in the background as a constant reminder that they were there too.
We used the gold pomander and when settling down I noticed what could only be described as a little fairy ring. It was encircled by grass and it appeared to have little stones in it. I noticed that there seemed to be an energy coming from the ring which appeared to be a fine mist.
We each did our own meditation and I felt that it was important to open my eyes to truly appreciate the beauty that was surrounding me. When I looked up there were many flocks of orange coloured birds flying overhead. Orange in Aura-Soma is to do with healing the time line and is also about the possibility of getting in touch with our own insight and deep bliss. Isn’t it an interesting connection that we were working with Zep Tepi which is a leyline that runs all the way from the Nile down to Durban and that this is referred to as Zep Tepi - first time?
After the meditation Mike said that we had been working with the air element and at times there was a light wind that seemed to pass through us. This wind was not unusual during our Journey and it appeared on many occasions when we were meditating. We chanted some ancient words into the air that Linda sang for us and it is my hope that these beautiful words were carried with love to where they needed to go.
The day before Linda mentioned that we could leave crystals at different times of our ceremony and I had brought quite a few crystals that I had taken from our land that we own in Sterkfontein. Sterkfontein is referred to as the Cradle of Humankind and has become a protected area by the South African Government. It felt appropriate that I should leave some crystals that I had brought with from Sterkfontein in what felt like a very Sacred Space.
After the Ceremony we had some free time and we could go into the little town of Hoedspruit if we chose too. Linda also had her book Mystery of the White Lions, Children of the Sun God for sale as well as cards and posters which portrayed the four lions.
I chose to stay instead to buy the book and I was fortunate to have it signed by Linda herself. I felt drawn to tell Linda that I left the crystals from our land that morning where we meditated and she said that in the deep past when the sabre tooth lions walked the earth they had a link with man. She felt that it was significant that the crystals I had laid down were placed in the Tiimbavati as a symbol that we were ready to work with the White Lions once more.
We had a Sunset Closing Ceremony at a different part of the land where we formed a circle close to a termite hill that had some crystals placed on it. It was an interesting circle as some people were in the valley and others were on top of a hill! We connected and chanted in a space of love and also held a meditation. We used Lady Portia quintessence this time and it felt very appropriate.
On leaving we all circled the Termite hill and it seemed to hold a lot of energy. Again, I felt drawn to leave some crystals from our plot in Sterkfontein.
Dinner was lots of fun and we had ate outside at Jos MacDonalds. Our group split up into different little groups as we found tables that seated six people each. I really enjoyed myself, especially connecting with the other South African girls. We had so much fun that we were very reluctant to head back so early. When we got back to Kubu the party continued. We were fortunate enough to have James Asher on the journey with us who is a fantastic musician and makes many CD’s which are sold by Aura-Soma. We were slightly challenged for music as James had no instruments to play and he was even drumming on the table which two people were able to dance to!
Eventually after a good time was had by all, we all went to bed in preparation for Day 4 which was going to be a coach journey to the Drakensberg Mountains.
