At what price paradise?

I have found over the last month that I am being increasingly drawn to the Mayan Calendar. The Mayans believed that there were 13 moons that created a year and each moon consists of 28 days with one day out of time a year. This way of keeping time helps us to stay more in touch with nature in our day to day lives.
The calendar that we follow consists of 12 months with each month varying from 28 days (sometimes 29), 30 days and 31 days. We also work by 60 minutes creating an hour. We follow the rhythm of 12:60 which takes us away from our link with nature and the idea that time is multidimensional. Instead we are tied down to the idea of linear time which keeps us so busy that it can be very difficult for us to see past the hours, weeks and months ahead.
In Aura-Soma there are two very specific bottles that relate to this concept. One is B89 Red/Deep Magenta - The Energy Rescue/Time Shift Bottle. It was born at a time that indicated a movement into a new Paradigm - a time where we have the possibility of recognising Time as Art. This encompasses the possibility of putting the love and caring into what we do rather than to just be concerned with the amount of work we have produced.
The second is B90 Gold/Deep Magenta - Wisdom Rescue which also helps us to get in touch with this new paradigm. Perhaps the gold helps us to find our own wisdom and rhythm in life rather than the patterns that we have been conditioned to use. This in turn can help us get in touch with the wisdom of nature and the cycles that she holds.
Of course we need to keep up with time as the rest of the world does or else we would be at a distinct disadvantage - we would never be able to meet our friends on time or catch a train but it is also necessary to acknowledge that there is another essence of time that runs beneath what we are used to experiencing and we can use this to help us to tune into nature.
It could be simple things like eating when we feel hungry rather than eating at the time that we have been conditioned to believe is breakfast, lunch and dinner. We could follow more energetic pursuits in Spring and Summer and to relax more in Autumn and Winter.
We recently found ourselves in a situation where a particular company who supplied us with their services was billing us based on time. Normally this is an acceptable practise as with contracting, temping, etc, however the sheer sums being asked for led us to question what we were being charged for. It transpires that they bill for everything, every minute, every phone call, every email and even taking it as far as charging to prepare and invoice, the time taken to type it and post it.
This to me really is a symbol of “Time as Money” at it’s most extreme form and I feel this behaviour is what disassociates us from humanity and the essence of the individual. It is the format for monetary success but at what cost to others and to themselves (spiritually)?
We do believe that there is nothing wrong with making money however it is important that we do not lose sight of who we are and more importantly retain our integrity. We have come to the Earth to exist and everything that we do is an exchange of energy. Money is also an energy and we should all experience abundance whether it be abundance of friends, food, health or wealth as this our birthright.
It is my sincere wish that we all move towards being more caring of one another and honouring each other as 21st December 2012 draws ever closer.
Love, Light and Peace
Simone
