The Act of Grace
July 10th, 2006
I recently finished working with Equilibrium bottle B77 Clear/Magenta and I had a really beautiful experience which I would like to share with you.
The tarot image of this bottle is of a large cup filled with liquid being poured into a cup being held aloft by a woman sitting upon the ground. This image relates to the two of pentacles and there is a grassy background behind her with a rabbit sitting close to her.
I have understood that Grace from above is freely available and we only have to be open to receive it but to really be in that place is quite a different matter. All of this opened for me through the use of the bottle and I found that I was regularly seeing this image in my meditation.
Grace is not only for a “special few” but rather it is our birthright. No person is any more or less entitled to it and as it is the image of the cup with liquid pouring from it - it always refills itself. We need to open ourselves to Grace and hold our cup out to be filled and the feeling of whether or not we deserve it comes from within us rather than what anybody else thinks about us.
The image I received in meditation was that all of us were given a package when we became embodied on earth and within the package of many items were a cup and a bell. The bell was to remind us to ask for help when we needed it and the cup was to hold up so that we could receive. Somewhere within us we may have forgotten to sound the bell for help or to hold out the cup so that we could be filled.
I was reading a pamphlet about the Bishops Palace and Gardens in Wells where mute swans are often seen at the Gatehouse, ringing a bell when hungry for food. they were trained to do this in the 19th century and the present pair are still doing this while passing the tradition on to their young! In the Medicine Cards by Jamie Sams and David Carson, the Swan represents Grace and perhaps it is the link to the bell that we are each given. All we need to do is to remember to ring it and trust that if it is truly for the highest good, what we have asked for will be received!
Magenta in Aura-Soma relates to Divine Love and it used to feel as if it was not really a tangible concept, however, in terms of the colours that it is made from (red and violet) it is actually a very grounded vision of Spirituality in the world. We need to embrace the third dimension and to be fully aware and present in each moment while at the same time being Spiritual.
Part of the Magenta Journey is also to appreciate our own value and it is also the possibility of finding our right livelihood in the world (Pallas Athena - the magenta coloured quintessence). For a long time it has been difficult for spiritual people to charge an honest amount for the work that they do without the tendency to undervalue what they are offering. The Magenta can assist us with finding the balance of being of service to mankind but at the same time remaining grounded and surviving in the world.
Love & Light
